In April 2014, Prof. Spiro Pollalis and his associates in collaboration with Osmani, RMJM, and Doxiadis Associates were commissioned by the Lahore Development Authority to undertake the master plan design of LDA City Housing Scheme in Lahore, Pakistan. LDA City is occupying an area of 29,132,726 m2 (8,000 acres) and with the aim to accommodate up to 450,000 people. Prof. Pollalis and his planning team worked as chief planners in this project, implementing the best practices of sustainable urban planning.
